Term 4 - Week 5

Totara hosted AAA time. Unfortunately there were technical issues with the wireless and somethings were unable to be shared. If you want to watch the iMovies made during County Sports - click here.

Well done to all the Hands on Learning winners - there were heaps of you. That is great to see! There is just one more AAA left this year. It will be hosted by Manuka in week 9.

Wow - look at all the people who collected a set of key comp credits! Well done to

Well done to Lachie, Kyrstal, Abbie, Ethan, Adele and Oscar. You all have

worked hard to deserve a classroom award.

Term 3 - Week 5
Totara hosted the latest AAA Time and we had a special visit from Bex at Base Youth Centre. She introduced herself and explained what goes on at Base each day of the week. Totara shared some super blog updates and also what they were working on with the 'Make it Work' topic. Lots of people from Arrowsmith collected a set of key comp credits, so many certificates were given out! Well done to James for winning the lunch voucher. The rewards this week included playing forceback with Miss Taylor, dodge ball with Miss Tomkinson or hanging out in R7 with free time on the Wii and computers with Miss Sullivan. The best bit - no one from Arrowsmith missed their reward time this week. Well done to everyone!

There was some great singing in the Hall of Fame song and the video of Cole retelling the myth of Maui and the Sun provided great entertainment. Follow the link to take a look.

Term 2 Week 5

It was Manuka's turn to host this week's assembly. Well done to Hemi, Bobby, James, Todd, Chloe, Teresa and Hannah for earning stars of every colour to receive a coveted Hands on Learning certificate. Congratulations also to William, Abby, Isabella, Ashleigh, Penny, Cole and Marlese who all achieved a classroom certificate through hard work.

Term 2 - Week 2
Totara hosted AAA for the first time in term 2. Hands on learning certificates were presented for the first time this year to people who had collected a set of key competency credits. Well done to Sam, Kyran and Natalie.

Term 1 - Week 11
Manuka hosted our last AAA assembly for Term 1, with Arrowsmith squeezing into Room 9 for the celebration.
Ryan and Aidan represented the sports monitors and shared with us how the sports shed is going. It sounds like everyone is doing a great job and the monitors have their lunch time job all under control. We learned that the hockey sticks are the hottest items with older students. One suggestion was that a "menu" be made. It would show all of the equipment that is available for lunch time use. What a great idea! We look forward to seeing this when it is made.
As hosts, Manuka shared some of their recent learning: Adele told us about the latest class story, A Tale Dark and Grimm; Ben, Jayden, Victoria and Isabella read their newspaper stories on camp; and several students showed off their portfolio title pages, made with our new iPad.

Term 1 - Week 2

AAA Time began last week with an action packed
assembly hosted by Totara.
We had Stacy from Base Youth Centre come
and talk to us about all the cool things you can
do at Base. Look out for the notice that you can
take home explaining it to your parents. There was
lots to go over on the calendar and the student
responsibility jobs were advertised. Check out the
classroom award winners in this photo:
